Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Skribble, operated by Eval Factory, Inc. doing business as Skribble (“Skribble,” “we,” “us”), collects on this website (the “Site”) and in the Skribble application (the “App”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect on the Site

The Site has no forms and no accounts. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps. We do not run advertising trackers on the Site. If you email us, we keep that email.

What the App collects

The App runs on your computer. Your notes, the wiki it builds from them, and its settings are stored as files on your disk. We do not receive your notes, and the App does not send usage data to us.

If you add a model provider key (Google AI Studio or OpenRouter), the App sends the text of the sections you absorb and the questions you ask directly to that provider to get suggested connections, wiki pages, and answers. That data is handled under the provider’s privacy policy, not ours. Without a key, nothing leaves your computer.

How we use it

We use server logs to keep the Site running and secure. We use emails you send us to reply to you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the providers that run the Site for us, such as hosting services, and only so they can perform those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep emails as long as needed to respond and to run our business. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited time. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Cookies

The Site does not set cookies for tracking or advertising. Any cookies that do appear are technical ones needed to serve the Site.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email us at the address below and we will respond.

Children

The Site and the App are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows when it last changed. If we add a cloud sync service, we will update this policy before it launches.
